The spiritual centre occupies the old byre, where cows huddled against a windowless northern facade to keep warm during the winter months. Overlooking a sloped terrain leading to the woodland, this same facade presents an incredible opportunity for sylvan vistas for the reverent space inside. A series of six generous openings orthagonaly perforate the angled stone walls, allowing the sun and the views to cut right through the once heavy structure, from the courtyard to the trees beyond.

Due to the unstable nature of the existing structure, the roof was completely rebuilt and the long facades were brought down and remasoned. On the inside, an all wooden interior provides a warm interior for meditative activities like meditation and yoga to take place. Across the openings, practitioners have ample choice to bathe in the sunlight of the southern facade, or to face the serene forest towards the north.
